Grammy-nominated artist to showcase at Overseas Night at Europe’s premiere Jazz conference
Boston, MA | February 12, 2020 — Music Works International, the industry leader in the development of jazz, world, blues, and roots touring artists celebrates its 2020 touring season. Among its roster of global touring jazz artists, four were nominated for Grammy Awards this year.
Newly signed to the MWI roster is rising star and saxophone phenom, Melissa Aldana, who received her first Grammy nod this year for Best Improvised Jazz Solo for “Elsewhere” off her quartet’s 2018 release, Visions. Chilean-born, New York-based Aldana makes her jazzahead! debut at this year’s conference in Bremen, Germany. Melissa Aldana Quartet – featuring Sam Harris on piano, Pablo Menares on bass, Kush Abadey on drums – play Overseas Night on April 25 during the renowned European jazz industry conference.
